Substrate Barrier Screen

Durable PVC coated fiberglass screen material. This is a heavier material than standard window screen to provide increased longevity. This material will not breakdown or corrode in a humid environment like metal screen. 

Simple to use - Cut to size and place this screen on top of your chosen drainage layer (either Easy False Bottom Tile or LECA). Then, proceed to add your chosen substrate on top of the screen.

Not recommended for use as ventilation screen because small flightless fruit flies may be able to  get through the openings. Please see available Non Coated Screen if you are looking for a finer mesh. 

Material is 36" wide - Each quantity of 1 purchased is for a 1 foot (12") x 36" piece. If multiple quantity is ordered we will provide as a single sheet up to a maximum of 8' (96"). Example: If you order "4" you will receive a 4' (48") x 36" piece of material.

Product will be folded for shipping but minor creases typically disappear quickly and will not impact performance.
